MIKE FERRANTINO

My passion for this sport was not born out of a long family tradition of hunting. I grew up in the typical blue collar town of Dearborn, Michigan, with a father like so many, just trying to provide a good life for his family. Hunting and fishing played a minimal part, if any at all!

It all started some 20 years ago and I can still recall my first opportunity to experience a real deer hunt and "deer camp" in a trailer in northern Michigan. The memories of those days and every hunt are what we cherish today. Having gone many years with little to no success in outsmarting creatures in their environment, it has grown into a lifelong challenge and one that keeps the intrigue alive today. The kill is the prize, the hunt is the challenge. Now with two boys of my own of legal hunting age, I have started new family traditions that provide as much, if not more satisfaction than all of my success in life. Whether it is 350 class Elk in the Rocky Mountains or pope and young Whitetail in the Midwest and more recently south Texas, I have managed to outsmart some of the most incredible prize creatures that would make any hunter proud.

As a successful entrepreneur and CEO of EQ – The Environmental Quality Company in southeast Michigan, it has afforded me the ability and wherewithal to explore this passion all across North American and Canada. In addition to hunting, I enjoy fishing, skiing, biking, and scuba diving.

JASON BROWN

Growing up in a small Northern Michigan community, I definitely have an appreciation and passion for the Outdoor lifestyle, and try to live it the best I can every day. Farming runs in my blood and I have a deep appreciation for the long hours my family put in the fields to make ends meet when they barely had the means to. Graduated from Central Michigan University with a Broadcast Journalism degree eight years ago, immediately started Jack Pine Productions and began to live my dream. I have a wife named Darci and a two year old boy, Gibson, who can name every big game animal on Outdoor television... I had nothing to do with that of course. I'm a sports nut who's dream day consists of a Wolverine victory over the hated Buckeyes, followed by a short track job of a big Midwest Booner. It's been almost 10 years since I have been a part of the Outdoor Television Industry, and over those years it has changed dramatically and if there's one thing I have learned it's this... If you want to be involved in this industry on the Production end, you need to know that the way you hunt and the way you enjoy your hunt will be changed forever. As hard of a lesson as it sometimes is, in the end I would never change a thing.

PAUL BIGGS

I'm a Sooner State native and a full-blown OU Sooner fan. I began pursuing the outdoors 28 years ago down a dirt road in Creek County, Oklahoma. I never ran out of things to do there, as there was always something that needed to be shot or caught. God, family, outdoors, and sports were and always will be a big part of my life. After finding out I couldn't get drafted by the professional hunting league I started thinking of ways to work around the hunting industry. I graduated Northeastern State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and video/TV production and from there started working for a country boy you'll might know, Jimmy Houston. Later I started running the camera and editing for some other big names in the industry, which, has led me to where I am now. My love for the outdoors is beyond obsession. It's just plain ridiculous.
